Last June 6, 2008, the La Salle Computer Society had a seminar about Java for students taking object-oriented programming for this term. The activity was spearheaded by Irene Tan, the Vice President for Academics of the organization.

The seminar allotted two time slots which catered to two different types of students. The first one, which was from 9am-12nn, mainly had beginning programmers in mind so the topics were not complicated and were made easier to understand. The second one was from 1pm-4pm and a more thorough discussion intended for more advanced students was conducted.
